The last time I saw Daniel Spils
Was at my place. He couldn’t hide his envy of Joe’s ability to sprout a firey red beard at will.
Was at my place. He couldn’t hide his envy of Joe’s ability to sprout a firey red beard at will.
He was walking up a steep, steep hill in San Francisco. Or he was drunk. Not sure, really.
He’s the first person to appreciate the 80s Dodge K car. Kevin is the for real deal.
I met Kevin in high school and we’ve been friends ever since. Kevin is the coolest person I know. He has a stellar wife (Susan), a beautiful daughter (Amelia), and this man still knows how to tear it up! He’s a like a bourbon paper shredder.
I grew up with Kevin in Anchorage, AK. We went to Romig Junior High and West High together. One day Kevin came to school with a bruised hand. Kevin sometimes had bad dreams. Doctors call them “night terrors”. Back to the story—Kevin had bruised his hand by punching the Bruce Lee poster on his wall during the middle of the night. Coming out of sleep he thought it was (understandably) an intruder.
I told him to take that dang poster down, but I think he kept it up for a few more years because he liked Bruce Lee. Regardless, Kevin is one of my favorite people on the planet.
